Padstow Desk

A lovely looking desk, useful cupboard and good width but the depth is too short. Not ideal for paperwork and revision

Very good quality desk. Built quickly by deliverer - no issues.

Extremely happy with this purchase, great build quality and size and all the drawers work well. The assembly service made it quick and painless, the only small point being that the back lower strut has visible screws. the assembly team said this was deliberate as this was the "back of the desk" that wouldn't normally be seen, however most people put a desk against a wall meaning the inside of the strut is what is visible - really the product should come with covers for these round holes with visible bolts. I've seen other people comment about this - M&S does really need to take this feedback on board. Otherwise would highly recommend this desk.

Lovely desk however measurements were not as advertised. The actual width of the desk is 55cm (not 60cm), which limits the space available for monitor, keyboard etc. Due to necessity I decided to keep the desk, however very disappointing that it was not as advertised - I would have chosen another item had I known.

I really love this desk. I have it in blue/black and it's really attractive to look at; it's also well built and sturdy. It's very comfortable to sit at and I'm pleased I bought it!

The desk is good, smaller than my previous one which encouraged me to declutter as it’s plenty big enough. The desk arrives flat pack and is put together by the delivery team. Double check it is done correctly. I had to get the M&S supplied furniture technician in as two of the cross beams had been put in the wrong way round. I was able to use the desk as it didn’t affect structure or stability, just looked ugly as two large holes were showing. M&S had it sorted within a week. I’m very happy with the desk, it’s a stylish, compact design.

Nice solid desk. Requires some assembly post delivery. Make sure you supervise or check the work to ensure it is carried out correctly. The delivery men rushed this and I had to contact M&S to get them out to dismantle and reassemble it correctly.
