Overall good but major issues with fit.

No, I don't recommend this
I have always wondered if Spanx shape wear lived up to the high price tag so decided to treat myself. The overall body shape was good but there were 2 major issues with the fit. Biggest issue was the legs. After 10 minutes they ride right up, bunching at top of thighs and making them uncomfortable to wear. I have to discreetly yank them down constantly. The 2nd issue is the fit under the arms. Either I adjust the straps so the sides fit smoothly, which resulted in red welts, or I lose the straps and end up with gaps under the arms. I have persevered in wearing it for a week now as it holds my stomach in nicely and the main body of the suit is comfortable. But the riding up legs and gaping under arms has won over, especially at the price.

Material feels very supportive. The sizing is on the small size. I am a size 18 but ordered a 20/22 Really glad I did because any smaller and it would have to have been returned. I am 5ft 9 inches tall and the body is very stretched. Please look at a long size for future. Lack of options means that because I need the smooth effect under an evening dress I am keeping it but I know it will be very uncomfortable.

Brought it was pricy but didn’t mind that if it was to do the job, put it on was good fit and I did feel great, but when taking it off I noticed the side seam had little holes so I will be taking it back, thought it would last me a good few years unless I had a faulty one.
