Great colour. Nice soft cotton material. (The Autograph M&S shorts are a weird poly-cotton anorak material!) I bought these because the regular fit M&S ones were too tight in the leg for my big/fat/muscular legs. These are long though so I'll get them tailored up a centimetre or two so I don't look like a surfer.

...I tried on 3 pairs of these in (a) my usual size, (b) one size up and (c) one size up and "loose fit" but all of them felt really tight on the front of my thighs. I'm quite fit for my age and not overweight at all but these shorts are too restrictive for me. Other than that, the colours, material and quality were all excellent, as M&S gear usually is.

I bought these as I wanted some just above knee shorts for my holiday, and couldn’t get any online in the right size/colour combo for women. These caught my eye, and I thought- well why not, they are very similar to the style I wanted. Very happy with them - nice soft material, just the right amount of stretch. Added bonus for me was a slightly looser fit on my waist, which works for my body shape. So ladies - give them a go.
