Your garment tech team should look into the shrinkage of the zip tape. It should be as similar as possible to the garment fabric. When I was in the garment industry, many years ago, we used to pre-shrink zips by washing them. Even YKK.

I bought these for my husband as he likes loose fitting jeans. They are a really loose fitting jean but my husband likes them very comfy to wear. I bought a 29 leg and they are a bit longer than that size I will need to take them up. But overall he's pleased with them
