Linen Rich Striped Cropped Wide Leg Trousers

Bought these online in a size 12 and they fitted perfectly -apart from the length! They are stated as cropped, but were more like ankle grazers on me and I am 5ft 5! I love the design, material, colours side pockets,elasticated waist at back and patch pockets on the back too, very comfy on.prefer wide leg linen when it’s hot, doesn’t cling as much. But will be having the length altered as they just look ridiculous on me. Really, marks, you should have offered, short regular or long in these, as not everyone is 5’7 and above! Otherwise would recommend highly. Very stylish and will be wearing mine with a linen shirt previuosly bought from you! If it wasn’t for the length I would be tempted to buy the other colourway !

A reviewer elsewhere on this site wondered why M&S hates short women and I have to agree. The normal wide leg linen trousers in short went out of stock as soon as they arrived as they do every year, never to return. In desperation I tried these. Obviously no chance of black orvblue after all why would you order enough stock of popular colours? However the striped ones that were still in stock are the perfect length if you are 5’3” or cropped if you’re tall. Please note M&S at the last census the average height for a woman was 5’3”.
