These are a good cut with deep pockets and a high waist with strong tie. Good heavy material which looks like pure linen and better than the cheap poly blends. Lost a star because they come up quite large and the pockets are placed so there feels like a lot of material all bunched around my waist making me look bigger. Might just be my body though! I am quite straight with hips only 2” smaller than waist! these are sold as straight leg but v similar width to my wide legs.

I've been looking for a classic pair of black linen straight leg trousers that aren't a high rise waistband. I ordered a short fitting but still the waistband was a little too high, but this time it was a straightforward alteration and now they are perfect
