The shoes felt very heavy so not suitable for standing all day at work. Heel higher than I expected & vents will allow water through so no use for winter wear

I've bought these to replace a pair I've had for a couple of years. Unfortunately, I've developed a bunion, and bought these to replace a pair that wore out because of the strain! I've gone for a wider fitting (hence they are a bit big!) and have bought inner soles to tailor fit them to my feet. In my experience though, these shoes are light and easy to wear, which is why I bought the same again!

Soles very heavy

Nice leather uppers. The fit was good, even slightly too loose. The soles of the shoes were very heavy and so shoes tended to clomp and fall off my feet. Returned them. A lighter sole would have made the shoes fine.

My second pair for best

I already have a pair of these shoes which I live in on a daily basis. When I have to dress up and look smart I miss my comfy shoes so I purchased a second pair to keep for best thus enjoying the comfort scruffy or posh.

Unfortunately the shoes were a little small for me. A wider shoe would be a lot more comfortable for me and I would want to try a half size larger. The shoe is well made and very neat looking.

Unfortunately these shoes were wide fit and we're too big. Don't they come in a regular fit?

Bought these as having recently broken bones in two toes I needed comfortable shoes. These are lovely and soft and the fit is just right. Will get plenty of wear out of them until I can get back to wearing heels !

no negatives really like the heel height as it was a bit higher than my last purchase of similar shoes

The shoes are comfortable under foot, but are awkward to pull on and lumpy and uncomfortable at the heel.

"wider fit" is a misnomer!

M&S sizing seems to be failing in several areas lately. Clothes of allegedly the same size vary enormously between styles, and these supposedly "wider fit" shoes were far too narrow for me. What a shame that I'll need to look elsewhere in future!!

A nice looking shoe, smart, good for summer evening wear. The wide fit is good, ideal for me, but the 41/2 size which I have always had from M&S was way off, far too big and heal shape not so good too flat, so no grip on heal. unfortunately had to return them.

Disappointing for a footglove not to fit!

i always wear Footglove shoes, and was greatly disappointed that this shoe was so wide at the heel, yet such a good for elsewhere, that I walked out of it. This is something that I have never come across before. I shall keep trying to find a Footglove that fits!

Lovely looking shoes but the top of the back of the shoe curved in a bit too much and I could feel some uncomfortable pressure on the back of my heel. The leather is very soft but I did wonder if it would give enough support once worn in. Sadly these lovely shoes had to go back.

I bought these shoes for my mother. She said that they were very very comfortable to wear and they looked pretty stylish too. Very happy with this buy.

The design of these shoes is baffling. I ordered them online without realising that the vents at the top will let in the rain! Silly design! Sent them back...

As comfortable as slippers!

What a pleasant surprise! I was dubious about ordering these shoes even though they were specified as wide-fitting as my feet are very wide (bunions). However, the very soft leather and broadness of the shoe itself meant that as soon as I slipped on the shoes they accommodated my feet with ease. I wore them for the first time to go walking round town and they were so very comfortable, not at all like new shoes, which usually need "wearing-in". Hope M & S will provide more wide fitting shoes (in various colours) in future as I will definitely buy more if they do. Very good value.

I always buy a 61/2 wide fit in this type of shoe, however these are very narrow so I had to take them back.
