More wacky sizing

No, I don't recommend this
I am a 14 in M&S jeans but will often size up to a 16 in trousers with a more rigid waistband for the extra space. I could barely even do up the zip of this skirt in a 16, and I felt the stiffness of the material meant it didn’t hang very well. I just can’t get M&S partywear sizing to work for me this Christmas!

Not the best quality

The material is quite stiff and it’s not lined. It’s more A line than it looks in photos. I can’t decide whether to keep it or not as I think it looks a bit cheap.

I wasn’t sure about this skirt, but when it was in it looked fabulous. The length is perfect for me. I wore it with a knitted top and ankle boots. Comments galore… I definitely stood out

Whilst I like bling and sparkle...a lot!!!... I was a little apprehensive about this. It's quite...full on! But one thing M&S does well is faux leather. It's consistently of good quality. I wanted a silver bottom half, and the trousers I've tried on by other high-street brands were flimsy and just didn't look at all good. I liked the look of this. It fits absolutely perfectly (6). If I had to knit-pick, I'd say it's a lot more A-line than it looks on the model here, and I think I might have preferred it to be a bit more pencil shaped, but it's a fabulous skirt. Super festive...and, teamed with a simple black satin shirt, looks amazing.

Not just festive skirt

I like this skirt, a straight/slightly A-line with back split, I don’t find the fabric too stiff, looks lovely with jumpers and boots.

Bought this for my daughter and she loves it. It is amazing quality for the price and goes with everything to dress it up or more casual.

When it arrived I immediately thought it would go back as the fabric was so thick ! However I tried it on and it looks amazing! Really pleased although the fabric is indeed thick and stiff . For the price it’s great

Great idea, terrible execution

Loved the look of this skirt and was so excited to try it, but the fabric is thick and reminds me of a vinyl table cloth fabric… thick! I own quite a few M&S faux leather items and this is NOTHING like the quality of the other a-line skirts which flow and fit beautifully. This looks cheap, sits badly, sticking out around the zip. So disappointed!!

Great dupe for more expensive products. Has the nice A-line shape and is a good length.

Looks great in the photos but it is terrible. It’s definitely not an A line and more like a pencil skirt. The fabric is very thick and bulky . This makes the zip very difficult to do up. It is also very tight across the stomach and is very unflattering. I am usually a size16 but even the 18 is too tight across the stomach.
