You get what you pay for - the velcro didn't last

No, I don't recommend this
As soon as we received them it was clear we were getting what we paid for - lighter weight than other M&S shoes we had bought for our children in the past. They've done a decent enough job overall, worked well both on normal school days and PE days, withstood some rain. But the big problem we had was the velcro - it was always so difficult to pull the straps off, and what's happened is that the fabric part of the velcro over time has just got stuck on the velcro bits. The straps won't go down at all now. So we've bought new shoes, and paid the price for good shoes that will last this time.

Only had for a week but so far they have been great and the kids haven’t complained about them at all. Generally in my experience m&s shoes last well

Not great

Bought size 12 for my son. He keeps saying they hurt him even after wearing for a few days so sadly they're not great.

Fantastic unisex trainers for grand daughter for school. Comfortable and weather proof. Wears them as well as other shoes but prefers these for more comfort. Very light, springy, stretchy so you can pull them open wide to get her foot in.

Nice sport shoe however...

Nice sport school shoe for my son and he finds them very comfortable. However the reason i have provided 3 stars is because after only a few days of wear the front sole of the shoe has already started to peel away.

I got these shoes for my 6 year old, who specified his new shoes had to be black, comfy and no laces. He loves them and wants to wear them all the time! They seem good quality and have held up well so far (about a month).

Light weight trainers

These are light weight trainers for PE. They’re a little stiff at the moment. Hoping they will soften and give as they get worn. Fair price and will be able to wear outside of school.

My son has G fit feet I always buy from clarks but recently even G fit from Clarks it’s too tight for my son. This one are perfect for school and even for PE. The most important there are much cheaper. I can buy two pairs for the price of Clarks. There are light and comfortable. My son loves it.

I was nervous about buying these given their cheap price- my son needs robust trainers for school and I don’t like to compromise quality. However, they look absolutely fine after a few weeks of getting battered about and he says they’re the best shoes ever- even prefers them to his other branded sports trainers! Thanks M&S.

My son is a typical boy, knee slides, playing football in school shoes, jumping in every puddle going and these have withstood the test of time. 10/10 would recommend
