We are so pleased with these bunk beds and as other reviewers have also commented its a really solid well made piece of furniture. The beds are definitely more of an ivory shade than white but this suited us as goes perfectly with our other furniture. The beds were built in no time at all by 3 delivery men and they were great explaining the care of mattresses etc too.

I ordered 2 of these for my grand children's bedrooms. One was ok but the 2nd one had to have the bookcase replaced as it was very badly damaged. I ordered 6 item's from this range & 4 off the item's had to be replaced. The replacement item's arrived two weeks later & are thankfully all ok... Having to have 4 item's replaced really took the shine off the children's pleasure at having new beds & furniture...

We are happy with the beds - purchased with 20% home event discount. Delivery men put together and made a good job - very professional and wore protective shoe covers too. Beds have fitted in well in the space provided. We purchased 2 single mattresses from M&S but they were an inch or more deeper than recommended as the 2 children's mattresses on the website did not have positive reviews. So we went for the Essential Open Coil Mattress. They are quite heavy but seem very good quality. I didn't realise that it would be quite time consuming making the beds up - especially the top bunk. Once you put on the mattress protector and then a fitted sheet - it can be a little awkward as you do not have much room for manoeuvring whereas you would normally with a standard bed on the floor. The only other aspect was the position of the steps. Unfortunately for us, the position of placing the beds has meant the ladder is up at the top where our son's pillow is. Next to the bunk bed is the locker and then an existing single bed. It's a shame you cannot specify where you would like the steps but its just the limited amount of wall space we have in the bedroom that the bed have to be positioned in this way. On the whole we are happy with them, and we do not feel they take up a huge amount of space.

Excellent set of bunks, well made and sturdy. Two delivery guys got it up in no time at all.

Good quality, solid bunk beds. The Ivory (white) colour to the wood gives a much brighter, clean effect than natural pine and is easy to clean. Brilliant on site assembly by the delivery team takes out all the hard work .

I spent weeks researching bunkbeds on the internet but kept coming back to M&S and the excellent reviews their Hastings range had received. The delivery guys were friendly and courteous and spent only 1 hour assembling the bunks. My children absolutely adore them and my youngest is asking to go to bed!! They are very sturdy and safe. They are not the cheapest bunkbeds on the market but in my opinion you get what you pay for and that certainly hold true in this case. I highly recommend them. They are full size single so adults can use them too.

2 man delivery arrived bang on time, took about 20 minutes for them to put the bed up. Very pleased with the quality and nice ivory / off white paint finish. One of the things I liked about this bed is that it has high sides for the top bunk, so there is plenty of room for a deep mattress plus no chance of rolling out. Many of the beds I looked at would only allow a thin mattress - which isn't really that comfortable. Seems sturdy, suitable for my twin boys!

This ia a fantastic bed. I did lots of research on this and there were many more that were much more expensive. Marks and Spencer never let you down on quality as this was the most important thing to me. What is more after I had paid, there was a sale on and the price came down by £100. After a phone call, they very kindly agreed to honour me the discount too. Very happy customer !

My twin 6 year old grand-sons are delighted with their new beds. Same goes for Granny and Great-Grampa who actually bought them. Service was excellent. Really impressed with style and quality - I've been on the top bunk!. Hoping I can re-review in 10 years to say how they've stood the test of time!

This product has proved a huge disappointment, The legs feel flimsy and I have already noted where the woodwork is dented after 24hours. The bolt heads are exposed metal -not white as shown on the web pictures and as displayed in store. The bottom rung also has exposed screw heads on the top of the rung which look very unsightly.

Initially we had these delivered and were very impressed, the delivery and build service was excellent, but as time has gone on (1year) these beds look like they are much older, they mark and dent very easily and I don't think the quality is any better than some of the cheaper retailers. Not what you would expect from marks and spencers

I did a lot of research before buying a bunkbed (GLTC, ASPACE etc etc) and found the Hastings bunkbed from M&S to be the best value for money. It is solid and sturdy, simple modern design and my two girls absolutely love it. M&S offered superb customer service all the way through, we viewed the bunkbed instore at Tunbridge Wells, we were met by helpful informative staff. The delivery and assembly of the bunkbed were free and I paid £20 to have an old bed taken away. The delivery men even cover their shoes in your home and were very friendly and polite. They assembled the bunkbed with no problems at all, left and took all packaging away. Get the bed built where you want it to be in the room as very difficult to move afterwards! The website doesn't state this but you can make this bunkbed into two separate single beds should you wish. First class bunkbed and service, well done M&S.

I chose this bed because of the previous reviews, nice design and reasonable price, however after approximately 4 months of having the bed the bottom rung has snapped on the ladder. I have to admit I had my doubts about the build quality of the bed, those doubts seem to have been realised. Poor design, selection of materials and build quality

We chose these bunk beds after much research and comparisons with so many others on the market and so far we are very pleased. My boys love them and sleep very well in them. They are a real solid piece which looks lovely in their room. Sadly whilst they were being delivered they were damaged along with my newly painted wall!
