Girls' Slim Fit Permanent Pleats School Skirt (2-18 Yrs)

Fits perfectly well and quality is top notch M&S has been my go tl place for uniform 👌🏽

I’ve always bought M&S uniform and love it - washes fab and wears well. This skirt is no exception. I needed a suitable smart (black) skirt for my slim, petite daughter. Most (if not all) of the M&S school skirts have waist adjusters, but we found all of the pencil and pleated style skirts age 11-12 (yes, we tried them all), needed pulling in so much - literally to the max, that the skirts ended up distorted, ruining the overall appearance. This was the only ‘slim fit’ skirt available at M&S. Fortunately, by also going back down to age 10-11, this slim fit pleated skirt is absolutely perfect (had to go three button holes in on the waist adjustment, on both sides). Unsurprisingly, the skirts are proportionately shorter, the younger the age on the label, but luckily this one is still a decent length on my daughter, who is 4ft 10.5”.

Finally found a skirt with pockets, turns out it’s only one pocket and it’s so shallow that a phone can’t fit in it. Why can’t girls clothes have pockets?? Otherwise, a well made & good quality skirt.

Perfect for my slim 13 year old. The regular skirts in the same size needed alot of adjustment which effected the look of the pleats. Good length and she loves the pocket!

True to size for my slim 6 year old (brought 6/7yrs) Tried a few others and even after sizing down they still didn’t fit. The waist is adjustable. She likes that it has a pocket too!

As always, good quality skirts that last and don’t bobble. But why do we have to pay more for less material as in normal fit you get two skirts for the same price? Having said that if your child is straight up and down then this is a better fit.

The adjustable waist and slim-fit is ideal for my petite granddaughter; she loves being like the big girls!

Grey pleated school skirt is excellent value for money. Elasticated adjustable waist is an excellent feature.

Slim fit perfect great quality but these skirts every year for both girls

Good quality as usual but the sizing is a bit " hit and miss". The size guide needs to show the length of skirt- approximately!! Have a very slim petite almost 8 year old grandaughter and have had to buy at least 2 different sizes to get the best fit.

Always buy these skirts for my daughter. Fit well with adjustable waist and look smart. They wash well too. Good quality
