Girls' Plus Fit Pleated School Pinafore (2-12 Yrs)

So happy to gave found these for my little girl, we now don’t have to size up & have things be too long! Please do summer dresses too next year!

After years of wearing the supermarket branded pinafores, my 9yo (measuring about 148cm & 40kg) has had a growth spurt over the summer, so those types/brands no longer fitted her. I went in search of plus sized pinafore school dresses and M&S had just the thing. I bought 4 in total. They do cost a bit more than the usual ones I would buy elsewhere, but these look equally smart on her. I do miss not having pleats at the back of the dresses, but these ones iron very easily, so not a deal breaker after all. The dresses are roomy enough to look just- right, now!... but also big enough to accommodate another growth spurt in the months ahead without looking tight!!!. I do feel positive that they should last her the full academic year or at least until second half of summer term, when she'll be back in summer dresses again (weather/temperature permitting of course). I do recommend these dresses and will purchase them again for next academic year.

My granddaughter is petite and so pleased that M&S caters for school uniform in 2/3 years and fits perfectly even though she’s nearly 4. Washes well, good fit.

Fitted my granddaughters beautifully, well tayloref

The dress fit very nicely but it was stain resistant. I called customer services to see if it was coated in a chemical and was told it probably was. Children should not have to wear chemicals all day next to their skin. This should be declared on both their website and the article itself for those of us who don't agree with doing this.

Lovely quality but very generous in width! At least it will last a good while!

I have bought these pinafores for my grandchildren for many years now, they wash great and last well. My granddaughters just out grow them. I highly recommend them.

Really pleased with this dress. My daughter isn't dainty she is well built and this 'plus fit' gives her some extra room and is easier to put on.
