Girls' Plus Fit Permanent Pleats School Skirt (2-18 Yrs)

Seems to fit ok, but would prefer elastic wait band. Good quality and hopefully will last the winter.

Disappointed the waist isn’t elasticated. Had to go up 3 age sizes just to get one that fits, it was meant to be a plus size fit. However it does wash and iron very well.

Great quality skirts but unfortunately, they do differ from the image shown. No elasticated waist on the age11-12, just a fiddly side zip and button, so have returned.

I am very disappointed! While the skirt is bigger in the waist, it is unfortunatelyalso significantly longer!! As such it is completely unsuitable for an average child of this age to wear!! Essentially it is just a larger size perhaps a regular 9-10 age skirt re-abled as a plus fit. I bought the plus fit as for some reason the skirts I purchased from you last year age 5-6 are now the same size in the waist as the 8-9 year old skirts and therefore again too long. I took the skirts into and measured it against a number of the different styles you carry including the exact same style as before but found they all had this issue. I am very unwell and it is very difficult to return them so I have will now have to keep them and hope that they fit in 2 to 4 years time.

I ordered these skirts as the image implied the waistline was elasticated at the back but they’re not. They had to be returned.

These skirts WERE great, but they added a zip and button instead of the elastic waist. What girl needing a plus fit skirt wants a zip and button M&S? I am really disappointed that something we have relied on for years has changed. I didn’t even check when I bought the next size up this year, so 8 weeks later at the start of term, we are stuck with skirts my daughter won’t wear.
