Masculine scent

It is described as a wine-like fragrance with notes of black raspberry, forest berries and wood so I thought as a predominately fruity scent it would be more feminine or at least a unisex scent however it’s very masculine like a strong mens aftershave or body spray so not what I was expecting.

Shay & Blue are amazing, well done M&S who are one of the few who stocks them! If you don’t know them, look them up, they’re so different from the other perfume makers in the market - they’re ethical and keep their fragrances from being too complex. My favourite are the fruit fragrances, like blackberry woods, and so I’m hoping this new fragrance will be amazing once I try it at Christmas!

I purchased a 100ml bottle of the Framboise Noir, having tried other fragrances from the range, not really knowing what to expect I was a bit apprehensive whether or not it would suit me. When I first tried it I thought I wasn't going to like it but as it warmed on my skin the scent really grew on me. It is one of my favourite fragrances now. I hope M&S have not discontinued the 100ml size as it is very good value for money especially when the 20% offer is on.

I am a big fan of Shay and Blue and although Black Tulip is my favourite this one is very nice and a bit different. I expected it to be fruity ("raspberry" was a bit of a clue!) but actually it's quite warm and spicy and lasts well. I would certainly go for the larger size next time.

I had a free sample, and loved it so much I wanted a full size one. A very deep scent of raspberry, with oud and a spicy hint I haven't identified yet. Mixed with M&S "vanilla bloom" it's a stunner and I've received a lot of compliments from strangers!

This is gorgeous. I got it today on a voucher discount and cannot stop smelling my wrist. When I tested I was a little apprehensive as there is an oud-ish note which - if your nose does not agrees with it - needs to be gone through before the rich, ripe base comes through. But if you like a rich berry scent and something a little different from the commercial 'fruitchouli' bombs out there I really recommend it. Shay and Blue is a very interesting house and so please M&S don't stop stocking it.
