Disappointed

No, I don't recommend this
I wanted to buy a product that would disguise my pores, however the primer highlighted them. It has a sheen and is not matt, so therefore emphasises pores. I can’t find a purpose for it. I usually love pixi products and love the fact that they use good quality natural ingredients.

I'm a convert and I'm ancient and cynical! Glad I took notice of the other reviews, this really has made a difference.

Expensive But Amazing!

I have been using Autograph Primer for years as it was a great price & I thought gave the best coverage for my skin. However, as Autograph has been discontinued, I needed to find something else. I was a bit freaked out initially by the price (although I managed to get with a 20% discount) but honestly, it’s worth it. It’s light but effective and goes on very easily. I wear under Pixie’s Tinted Face Gel and have received so many compliments on how well I look since I started wearing it. I often don’t sleep well (blame the menopause!) so have dark rings under my eyes, but the combination of the two Pixie products makes me look amazing. Highly recommended - but please don’t discontinue!

A good primer for redness and reducing pore size

I find that this primer is a good base for a light foundation. Helps with redness around the nose area.

Best primer for oily skin

Wow! i love this product so much!! Anyone who has oily skin, especially T-zone area its a must have for your everyday make up! Always use a primer before applying foundation and it'll stay put all day, trust me! I've used MAC and other expensive brands and this is by far the best i've ever used. Good value for money and it last a long time with the little amount you need to apply. I'm gutted its currently out of stock but will be purchasing more when its back in stock.

Oily/problamatic skins best friend

I can not tell you how glad I am to finally find a product that not only does it help control my super oily skin and minimize pores but it also helps keep my breakout under control as it contains silacilic acid. Creates such a smooth velvety canvas which makes foundation application a dream to apply and not have to worry about sliding off after a couple of hours or settling into pores. Worth every penny and I highly recommend for anyone with oily and problematic skin type.

Pale and lifeless

No, I don't recommend this
Flawless Poreless primer just made my face pale and lifeless and pores were emphasised when I applied the foundation. On the positive is goes on evenly if you use a brush and provides a decent base for foundation. However I dont think it's as effective as the PIxi Beauty primer which leaves your skin soft, smooth and glowing and can be worn without foundation.

Not for oily skin

No, I don't recommend this
I had high hopes with this primer, having had it recommended to me for oily skin - sadly I was disappointed. This primer had poor oil control, was not in any way mattifying and did not improve the staying power of my make up. Perhaps it may work better on normal/dry skins, but for combination/oily skin it did very little as compared to other primers I have tried. Not recommended :(

Love Pixi products

I have tried several of the Pixi products and was so pleased when I saw M&S were stocking their range. This is a lovely primer, not heavy and leaves a lovely smooth surface for make up. What I liked the most is that it doesn't feel too greasy or "slippery" like some of the silicone based primers can. A little goes a long way too!
