Only just bought so probably a little early for full review. So far, I really like the design, colour, material and general look of trench coat. The fit is snug when wearing a t-shirt and cotton jumper underneath. Annoyingly the creases due to packing are taking sometime to fall out.

I've been looking for a classic cut trench coat like this for years and finally came across this one. I bought the size 8 petite and it fit me perfectly (I'm 5'6"). The hem falls an inch below my knee and it's just what I wanted. This trench coat also has proper shoulder seams so it frames my shoulders very nicely. The sleeves are the right length at my wrist and they're not baggy like some other trench coats. I didn't like the texture of the polyester lining, but a trench coat that fits me so well is such a rare find so I put up with it. I did try the other 100% cotton M&S trench coat, but that one was too big and the sleeves were too baggy for me even after I sized down to size 6 which was the smallest size they offer, so I didn't buy that one.

Read reviews before purchase. I needed a light coat for travel on public transport and in a hurry. Good heft to fabric and it fits perfectly (I sized up to accommodate clothes!). I am petite height so it comes below the knee but that's what I prefer. Given the price point I am expecting this to be a long standing addition to a capsule wardrobe.

Was looking for a good quality cotton trench coat. I don’t like the polyester fabric. This M&S trench coat definitely meets my expectations. I bought it in the dark khaki colour — looks great for me. The fit is great too. I got it in the petite option so that it falls properly on my knee because I didn’t want a long one. The only thing is if the internal lining was cotton that would have been perfect for me. I know that there’s an expensive one which may have inner cotton lining but I didn’t buy that. The one I got is good for me.

Lovely colour and suits all outfits. Would have liked it to be a slightly shorter length (I’m a petite height) nevertheless, a lovely spring/ summer coat that can keep you warm in changeable weather.

I needed a new replacement trench, M&S again provide the quality without breaking the bank. The coat fits perfectly, it’s the right length and light weight also. The coat is perfect to take me from spring to summer and the material and trim feels premium.

Great jacket and very smart looking. Exactly what I was looking for. My only thing is that even getting petite, I feel that the length still long. I got size 10 and I’m 1,60cm high, it is nearly mid calf. I would prefer it knee length not to make me look shorter. This is why I only gave it 4 stars
