It's a really pretty skirt and the embroidery stops it looking like a tablecloth (which I think gingham can). The pockets are an added bonus. The reason I've only given it three stars are because there's too much material which means it makes you look quite wide across the hips so it's not the most flattering of cuts. That said, it's swishy and a lovely addition to my summer wardrobe.

Pretty cotton checked skirt with embroidered daisies on it, cool for Spring/Summer wear during day or evening. However, it's not A-line as stated, it's just a gathered skirt onto an elastic waistband. It's also BIG, so chose a size down from your usual size
