Cotton Rich Checked Cowl Neck Blouse with Silk

This is so lovely and I may well keep it although not wearing it yet. Please be warned that it runs small which is unusual for Jaegar, particularly around the rib cage. I am no longer a tiny size 8 and buy size 10 items. However, I have always had a v small rib cage and fairly small waist. Most size 10 Jaegar items are slightly big on me. This item fits me on the rib cage with only a little extra material and coupled with being v fitted around the bust looks slightly odd and not the current fashion. I think size 12 would be too big. If I keep it, it’ll be worn with a black or camel tank top.

This blouse was bought for my mother’s birthday. It is modern and very good quality. However, sizing was an issue. Originally I bought a size 10, which fitted my mother perfectly on top, but as the blouse is very fitted, it was far too tight below her waist. She wouldn’t have been able to sit down. So, I ordered a size 12. Unfortunately, this was too big on top, although fitted well below her waist. So, I recommend caution in choosing the right size if buying online.
