Purchased size 24. Good length as covers my bottom nicely (I prefer longer tops), nice sleeve length and loose fitting, hangs away from the body, nice soft brushed cotton feel (which is ideal for the cooler days). Being pale grey and white stripe will go with most things. Lovely top and would certainly recommend. It would be nice if reviewers mentioned when writing a review, if they also mentioned what size in any clothing they purchased as I feel this would also help others to decide. M&S, please more cotton/cotton mixed tops, with slightly longer short sleeve, 3/4 or full length sleeves, (for those of us who don't like to show their arms), 64cm or longer in length for the older woman. Most if not all new tops seem to be short and boxy shape, with no sleeves or capped sleeve

This top is soft, warm and comfortable to wear. Yes, the sleeves are wider and yes, the top is shorter in length but I think this is exactly as M&S designed it to be worn in contrast to a traditional rugby top. If worn with wider leg trousers shorter tops are best worn with them. It can be worn with a long sleeved t-shirt underneath for extra warmth or sleeves rolled up for extra casual look.

This is a lovely casual top which is just a wee bit dressier than a normal t-shirt because of its collar. It is lovely, cosy, slightly brushed cotton material. It will not suit everyone’s shape as it is quite short & boxy, with wide sleeves as there are no cuffs. I am usually a size 8/10 but I ordered the size 6 and it is still plenty roomy under the arms and across the shoulders. If you are thinking to buy this top I would recommend ordering a size down unless you want it baggy.
