“Dresses are such an easy summer option, especially when you don’t have much time in the morning, like me, racing around after little ones. Just throw a dress on and you look instantly together. I always try to think how things will work into my wardrobe and that’s why I love these two dresses. The cool boho-vibe red dress will look brilliant in autumn (the colour’s made for it!) paired with boots and a leather jacket. And I love layering up this slip dress – but it could just as easily be worn on its own to a beach bar with nothing more than a bright lipstick.”

Summer style hero: the midi skirt
“I’m really loving midi skirts right now. They are so easy to wear and flattering on every body shape – because I'm so short they look more maxi on me, which I love! This pleated pattern skirt is really special. The pink, navy and mustard palette and mix of prints is really pretty – it also means the skirt doesn’t need clever styling to make it sing, so pair it with a simple white T-shirt and let it be the star of the show. This beautiful flower polka-dot midi looks great worn with a denim shirt or navy tee; simple but elegant with the soft frill adding flair.”

“I love the sports luxe trend so this side-stripe skirt has become a style go-to for me over the past few months. I’ve pushed the retro vibe even more by wearing the slogan tee cropped with a knot – it looks cool and helps nip you in at the waist. This Nineties vibe skater dress is perfect for summer – it’s just one of those dresses that fits like a dream and looks great dressed up with heels or down with trainers – the bright red looks amazing in the sunshine too.”

“You don’t normally associate summer with trousers, but we’ve had such an amazing range this season that it’s totally made me re-evaluate my summer vibe! Jumpsuits have become a firm favourite of mine, because they look good, are comfortable and very easy to style (basically because you don’t have to use any brainpower). This floral all-in-one is a winner – it’s elegant with a sense of fun. I've only just discovered the white trousers with the side-stripe and I love them. The relaxed fit is perfect for summer and they look great with heels or flats.”
