Suit Measuring Guide

Measuring guide

1 - Shoulder width: This is the distance between your shoulder seams, measured straight across the back with the tape measure laid flat. Make sure you measure from the outermost part of your shoulders to get the most precise fit.

2 - Chest: Keeping the tape horizontal, measure around the fullest part of the chest. It may be easier to get someone to help you.

3 - Waist: Without trousers on, place the tape around your natural trouser line, below the navel.

4 - Inside leg: Place the tape into the highest point of your crotch and run the tape down to the ankle bone. Trousers should gently break on your shoes so avoid too long a length.

5 - Sleeve length: Measure from the top of your shoulder, where the shoulder seam would meet the top of your arm, take the tape down the edge of the cuff.

6 - Jacket length: Measure from the back of your neck, where your shirt collar would normally sit, down to the hemline. You can choose a short, medium or long jacket length, but the length may vary depending on the suit's style.
