Thin sole, elastic makes them impossible to slip on and off. I appreciate M&S tries to keep down prices for us, but no point in that if you end up with an unsatisfactory product. Please return the previous version of the ballerina slipper

The slippers are okay but do not feel they are up to M&S usual standard. I have always bought ballerina but these are not as comfortable and the right one slips off.

In the past I have purchased several pairs of ballerina slippers from M and S. This latest pair was a huge disappointment. They are now elasticated and fit too tightly around my foot, the slipper rubbed on the outer joint of my left toe and made it sore. They were tricky to put on whereas in the past I could simply slip them on my feet. I won’t be buying them in the future.

Absolute rubbish. I will NEVER buy slippers from M&S again. Why can’t you bring back the design you had approximately 5 years ago (the quilted insides design - certainly not the furry insides). Why try to “fix” something that was, in my opinion, working OK in the first place!!

Very small and narrow with tight edging, compared to previous pair of size 4 slippers the sole is shorter, I would rate the width as narrow rather than standard, tight edging prevents any give in the fabric, very disappointing!

Slippers are fine but having read the reviews slippers being tight l ordered a size 8 instead of my usual size of 7. I am glad l did as they fit very well
