No, I don't recommend this
Even though these trousers fitted in the waist for some reason the lower hip region went smaller, thigh wise to tight. So now even though advertise as straight fit, will have to buy in future regular fit to make sure. So much hassle, order online then take home then return to shop, i know they can deliver to your address but not possible with how some couriers work these days. Please sell 42 waist and tall in the stores for us, you would get more sales i think.

Nice quality but a big waist of time

For M&S trousers I found these to be a bit more fitted in the leg than others I have tried which I prefer, and they are made of a nice quality thin cotton material. The grey colour is also nicer than the photos. Unfortunately the waist was too big, and much bigger than other 34 waists I have tried from M&S and most other retailers - it was like the 34 was a 35 inch waist. I tried to downsize to the 32 but these were too tight and fitted. Regrettably I returned them.

I have been wear Marks Cotton pants since my 20s and after 20 years of wearing them, i find that with every new pair that i buy the quality seems to deteriorate. The recent one that I bought, the cotton seems to be thinner. What a let down.

35" leg a great option

Bought the grey chinos for my son as I struggle to get trousers that are long enough in the leg for a 32" waist. These are great value and a great fit. Will certainly be ordering more. Only drawback is they do not do more colours and only available online.

Nice style and material but I ordered two sizes ... 40 & 42 waist both with 35 leg and although my size is 40 the kegs were short ? Don’t understand that so had to return them and stay with the looser fitting 42 waist. Strange !

These trousers are quite well made but unfortunately they don't come up the body enough . I bought them because they are supposed to be big or tall. They are neither . A 2 inch extra rise to waist would make these are better fit. I sent mine back.

I didn't realise M&S did this length of trouser (albeit on line) so was pleased to find the fit, colour & length as described. The on line ordering/pick up instore works for me & as I ordered a additional trouser but didn't like it the return there & then was very easy

I bought these to cope with this warm summer. More light weight than work trousers and cooler. At only £15 you cant complain. Despite not being a giant most m and s trousers are too short so I have to buy from the big and tall range. And these were great. In most shops I wear a 34 x 34 but this isn’t available in Marks and their standard long leg 33. Is just too short. Longer leg work better for me. Cheap wash well fit not amazing (a bit big in the waist ) but hey more room for lunch.

I am a tall lady and find that M & S mens straight fit trousers and jeans are a much better fit than womens trousers in the equivalent size. I bought four pairs of these chinos, in dusty pink, in the sale. They are brilliant the fit and colour are spot on. People have commented how nice they are. Quality excellent. Well done M & S.

Purchased 36 /35 chinos for my son who is 6'6. These were from the big and tall range. The waist sizing was really wrong far too small, the 'straight' cut was actually more like a skinny jean style but perfect length which meant they had to go back! My son does not have rugby thighs just normal ones but these were super tight. Returned for refund. If they had fitted they would have been great value for money! Maybe if stores stocked even a few big and tall items it would encourage more gents to stores!but then again M & S are closing my store for some unexplainable decision made in London!Really disappointed again!

With the hotter weather my son needed some cool loose chino trousers. They are a great colour, he was pleased with that. Unfortunately though, he found them a bit snug round the legs especially on the thighs. He plays basketball so maybe his legs are muscular but I did buy a pair from M & S a year ago and they are much better cut. He still wears those ones but we were hoping these new ones would be the same fit.
