I have a similar pack of pants to these in age 9-10, not the same pattern but the style is the same. They are a bit tight for my daughter, so I bought the 11-12. When I got them home and opened them I was shocked at how huge they were! They are 3 inches wider than the 9-10 ones when you lay them flat together! In fact I tried them on and they fit me and I am a size 8! So I still don't have any that fit my daughter, but I will have to keep these for myself! M&S used to do more sizes, eg 9-10, then 10-11 etc. I think they need to do that again so that there isn't such a big difference in the sizing!
