Lovely design and something different to frills or plain. Only thing was we were avoiding the frills and had to buy the multipack and pass on the frills.

Children’s socks coated with biocidal substance
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
No, I don't recommend this
Lovely socks, however returned and 1 star for being coated with biocidal substances (!) that’s like pesticides for humans! And why - so you don’t have to “wash” the socks often. Really?! Why not wash the feet more often so there will be no need to Coat children’s clothing with chemicals that enter their bloodstream through their pores. And also, it is on the label (tag), on the back side in a very very very tiny small print so you don’t find it (but they are obliged to disclose it). Having then returned them and looked through other children stuff - nearly everything in the shop (socks, baby clothing (baby!) even shoes!) are coated with this substance so it “stays fresh” for longer. This is lunacy. Why coat children’s clothing and shoes, why coat babies stuff with it?! I was shocked. And that was my last purchase/return from m&s. Please Read the label (tag) carefully before purchasing. https://noharm-europe.org/sites/default/files/documents-files/2671/2009-09_Nano-silver%20Report.pdf

Great socks but a 5 pack would be so much better!

These socks are really good quality, wash well, and stay white. My only niggle is they are a pack of 4 when there are 5 school days. Would make life easier if they came in a pack of 5!

My daughter loves them. They’re so comfortable, a good fit and look good. Her sisters are jealous of them… I’ll have to buy more.
