I like the soft smooth feel of the fabric and it helps keep my head cool on summer nights. They wash easily at 40C. I like to give mine an iron for a crisp tidy look but it’s not essential if you are relaxed about crinkles.

Good sized pillow cases, our pillows with protectors on, fit inside these cases very well. They are comfortable despite feeling quite shiny compared to old fashioned cotton cases which I prefer (can't seem to get them from M&S anymore?). I have managed to get something greasy on my pillowcase I noticed this week so it will be interesting to see how it comes out in the wash this weekend. It might be a hair product or a hand lotion I put on before bed - not sure. But it shows up like a couple of big fingerprints and is quite obvious! Hopefully it'll just wash out. I would have bought white or cream if they'd been available but they were not (in king size) so I had to get this as a next best option. Would probably not buy again but, all ok for the money spent really - you could spend way more out there.
