Allergic reaction.

No, I don't recommend this
I had this shampoo several years ago & loved it. With the discount I decided to treat myself. Unfortunately I came out in a rash on my scalp. On the Aveda website there is a warning of possible allergic reactions and I feel that M&S should place this on their product description. As usual M&S have refunded my money with no problems. Brilliant customer service. A shame the product has changed.

Great for my bleached hair gives it shine and softness. Usually get from another supplier but saw the discounted price for the litre size and had to get it. Will last me at least 12 months as only need a small amount.

Good quality shampoo. I like the consistency. Almond fragrance. HUGE bottle. Really wish it was available in a smaller size. Don’t like the colour of the bottle.

This is a truly excellent product at a great price. This brings out lovely silvery highlights in grey hair and neutralises brassiness in blonde hair. The smell is delicious, slightly almondy, and it lasts for absolutely ages - well over a year. I love the Aveda philosophy of using organic plant ingredients and recycled packaging.

This shampoo is of the highest quality. In my eighties. I have had ‘grey hair’ since my mid twenties. This is the best shampoo I have used. Colour, condition and volume is the best it has ever been. It is expensive. But my last bottle this size, has lasted two years. I recommend highly.

Have used Blue Malva for years on every other wash to keep my grey/white hair silvery, unlike some other blue shampoos this does not stain your hands or towels. Being such a large heavy bottle, it can be difficult to handle with wet hands, a pump top would be a useful addition or to purchase

Great shampoo
I love this shampoo, it gets rid of the brassy colour in grey hair, without making it blue or purple, gives a natural look and smells divine.

Expensive but you only need a small amount. If this is right for your hair type then it is a good shampoo. Leaves hair soft and shiny.

Why, oh why hasn’t there been a sample of this in a Christmas Nativity Box, or available via the assistants in the Beauty Department? If there had been I would have been using it ages ago. I very nearly passed it over as the price was the most I’ve ever paid for shampoo but I decided to give it a go and I’m 150% glad that I did. This huge bottle will last for ages as you only need the smallest amount and what a difference it makes. Prior to Lockdown, my hair was highlighted but now it’s my natural grey and this shampoo brings a wonderful colour and bounce to otherwise slightly dull, dry hair.

I have been using this shampoo and the blue Malva conditioner for my gray ( almost white) hair for some years. Although it’s a dark purple colour there is no residue or tinting. Expensive, but it lasts a long time so I would say it works out at a fair cost per wash. It keeps my hair in great condition and helps to achieve a smooth, sleek bob.
