Wool Blend Straight Leg Trousers with Silk

Originally I bought sizes 8 and 10. Returned as too short, and unnecessarily narrow in the legs. i am under 5ft 6, measure as for size guide 10, with fairly thin legs. . but these trousers didnt fit anywhere!. There is no long option and oddly they are over generous at the waist and very narrow in the leg. The 10 was too big in the waist. and they were too short even for flats... I dont like to wear flats.!! I really liked the matching jacket and waistcoat so I ended up keeping a size 10 and paying to have the small hem taped to squeeze enough length to wear with flat shoes and the waist and hips altered a little to narrow the fit,,

just as described. problem is I cant find the jacket to wear with them :(

Lovely fabric but returned because yet again the pockets want to bulge. The fit on the waist was good and not at all tight. The fit on the hips was also not too tight. M&S seem to have a terrible problem with getting pockets to hang correctly both in trousers and dresses and is a problem that needs addressing. I have returned numerous garments because of this over the years.

Lovely trousers that are flattering and well cut. I really like the fabric which has a silk finish. Lightweight and perfect for spring and summer. I am not particularity tall and didnt find the length too long even with small heels, but then i am not a lover of ankle flapping trousers! I brought the matching jacket and together they look amazingly expensive .

Nice Quality fabric but too big and too long. You need to go down a size. At least 2 inches too long to wear with flat shoes and I'm 5' 6"

Super trousers, only just long enough as I am 5.8 tall and they only come in the one length. Quite expensive for Summer weight but the fabric is beautiful and contains Silk so and they will be a wardrobe staple for Summer for years to come.

I cannot remember any trousers I have worn which are so light as these. They will be a very good buy because of this for holiday travel. I have not yet worn them outside so do not know how warm they are in these cold winter days but indoors they are warm enough. I am 5 feet two but with heels on they fit well enough and I plan to tuck them into boots outdoors.

I sent for these elastic waisted trousers just for everyday wear. They fit well and were ok I suppose, though quite lightweight, but I returned them simply because they have this self-coloured ‘stripe’ down the side. Not a problem normally but as I am in my mid 80’s and the strip protrudes, like a seam, they looked as though they were inside out (not a look the elderly seek!)

Beautiful trousers ordered in black and true fit. Fabric makes them smart enough for day to evening. The weight is lighter for Spring but the cut makes them hang well.
