Wide Fit Leather Boat Shoes

I found that these boat shoes advertised as wide fit are certainly not 'wide', and were most uncomfortable. They were also remarkably heavy and the leather was stiff- not pliable. In short they are going to be returned.

I have been wearing these deck shoes from Marks for years they have always been good quality I just replace them when they are worn out, as good as all the top brands.

This is the second pair of these style of shoes we have purchased. My husband wore the first pair throughout last summer and this summer. He wanted a replacement to wear for a special occasion and the quality, fit and comfort is just as good as last year’s pair. Pleased they are available in wide fitting. (Wish more styles were available in wide fit) Very happy with this purchase.

Quality shoes made just how you’d want them. No names to push up the cost. Getting better with wear, the feelgood leather is taking the shape of my feet.

I bought in both size 11 & 12 to select best fit. Neither could be described as Wide-fit; are actually v narrow. The 'standard' size in M&S Blue Harbour shoe ranges is a wider size. Both pairs of this boat shoe returned.Shame - looked good in net picture.. David Taylor

Bought these for my husband as he now struggles to wear the normal width M&S boat shoes he has bought for years, due to being too narrow. He is very pleased with them, however he wishes they came in the same tan colour he has always bought. These are a dark brown and don’t look so good with his summer wardrobe. He says they are really comfortable, but thinks he may need an insole as they do not fit as well as his previous boat shoes, as he finds they tend to slop. Overall, a good purchase.
