Velvet Pleated A-Line Midi Skirt

If I hadn't faffed about quite so much I would have bought this skirt in red and blue as well as the gold one, it's a great skirt. It's versatile enough to wear in the day time with biker boots for a more bohemian look or with heels/ dolly shoes for evening. If it's a little long and you have a steady hand you can shorten it yourself with scissors as the material will not fray. Love this skirt, great addition to my wardrobe.

Loved this navy skirt. Wore it with the silver off the shoulder top for my Christmas party. Everyone loved it. I would reccommend this as a wadrobe essential!

I wore the red skirt today to a Christmas lunch and had so many compliments! I styled it with a black longline fine knit jumper with a statement red necklace and black boots. My normal size 10 fitted perfectly and at 5ft 8in the midi length was perfect. Obviously a winner and so pleased I have the navy and black tucked away in the wardrobe too. Christmas sorted!

I was very pleased with the skirt as I thought it might be too short but it was fine.Other midis I had tried had been too short so it was such a relief to receive it as I needed it for a party the next day It will be a useful garment to wear over Christmas.

I received this by post. It is unlined which I would have liked. Pleats are gorgeous. The light changes on the pleats as it moves. Funnily enough I haven’t worn this yet as I am finding it difficult to get a top to match it. Keeping it though as it’s very good value at £35.

Bought skirt in red (ish)/ pink (ish) colour at beginning of season, in anticipation of Christmas. Fits well, soft material (if a little heavy for packing) all important elasticated waist for over indulging at Christmas meals out. My main concern though is I still haven't been able to find a matching top! Contrasting black tops seem to have too many frills and flounces for my taste. At present I am holding on to cream jumper with pearls which is still in time limit to return....too late for skirt though. Maybe should have gone with black skirt. All suggestions welcome.

Very stylish skirt! Lucky to snag a black in my local store. It's quite long (possibly could have done with being a tad shorter) but hangs and moves beautifully. Can be dressed up or down. Perfect for Xmas season!

Bought this after popping in store to use the loo and being totally bowled over by it in passing!!! Have seen Holly Willoughby wearing similar styles on This morning and thought that this would be perfect to wear over xmas. The length is somewhat between a midi and a maxi I would say but I am only 5ft 5 so that will depend on your size. The colour is so beautful and it just shines in the light. Its not too heavy but has a good weight to hold the pleats. All in all it is a great skirt - I have worn it once for a casual lunch outing with friends and they all complimented me on it. I think I will be buying the other colours!

Bought navy and black, so useful in every way. My only criticism is the length, not midi for my 5’2”!! Could we go back to when M and S offered varied skirt lengths as well as trousers please?

I have bought this skirt in black,blue, the gorgeous red and have now ordered it in the gold! So I think it’s clear that I love them, they feel so soft and stylish. Having said that I really wish they were lined and like other ladies have said in different lengths, Being 5ft 3ins they are quite long on me but I fold the waist band over, which helps. But definately love them.

Bought the skirt in navy. Nice soft material, skirt is both comfortable (elasticated waist to allow for those dinners out) but looks smart. Would have preferred a slightly shorter length but otherwise fit is good. Was not impressed with the packaging, usually clothes ordered online are better packed - but I suppose it saves waste!.

Purchased the navy skirt and was very pleased so ordered the red one for Christmas, extremely comfortable with the elastic waist,looks lovely with a black velvet top, previously bought from M & S.

Beautiful fabric and colour (deep, rich red). Lovely swish to the skirt and very comfortable to wear. Excellent price, especially with 20% discount. Perfect for the party season and the winter, plus very much in fashion at the moment. A must have skirt!
