Velvet Jacket with Silk

This jacket is stunning! Great fit! I have now ordered the trousers to match.

Absolutely love this jacket, it’s shiney, gorgeous chic, so pleased I got it.

I bought this jacket to go with the trousers. It's a great fit and I love the elasticated detail round the waist which gives it some shape. I am only 5'3" and it is a little long in the body but otherwise it's a great jacket which can be either dressed up or down with jeans. A good buy which I think will last and be very useful.

I thought the jacket was beautiful but unfortunately there was a flaw in the fabric across the collars. I think this may have been caused with the hanger pressing against the velvet., I would have kept this is not for the flaw so am really disappointed.

There is something strange about the cut of this jacket. It felt too long for the fabric and, for me, suitable for neither indoors or outdoor wear. It did nothing for me, I felt frumpy in it. Trying with the matching wide leg trousers confirmed it a no go. As size 8, I tried sizes 6 and 8; 8 was OK for size. Positive aspects were the fabric and colour (and that it had 30% off). Both jackets and trousers returned.

Lovely jacket. Nice feeling and in a more unusual colour. It would be great with dresses or even with jeans and a white blouse for a dress up/casual occasion. The jacket was too long for me and doesnt feel right. The cut at the waist make me look big and unshaped. I think it will look great in a tall person with a longer body.
