Perfect to hide lumps and bumps

The material is a great weight to hang beautifully and slide over my winter lumps and bumps but the style will allow me to lose some weight and still look perfect. I'mlarge 12 at the moment and this is nice and loose. Perfect with heels for an evening out or flats for smart casual. Great wardrobe addition.

I like this LBD

Just what's needed in a LBD - would do for practically any occasion, dressed up or down. A matt black rather than a black black;: a shade that can nearly look a very dark, stony, grey. Generous sizing so going down a size may be good idea. I am between sizes so I went for the smaller version which fitted fine and,as I'm quite busty, I was glad of a little extra room uptop. I can see how some might think the dress frumpy but I think it's a style on trend at present and totally 'made' by the side pockets. Thanks M&S ... simple designs, a bit of quality (even if slightly more expensive). is what a lot of us are looking for. P.s. the material is substantial and, for me, lining would have made the garment too 'bumphily'!

Order a size smaller

I'm usually about a 12, but this came up really big. I had to reorder in a size 10, which is a much better fit. Wore it with a belt and it looked really stylish. I loved it. Quite smart and formal so good for work, rather than a night out with the girls.

Ordered these for staff uniforms and used M&S size chart as a guide for the sizes - now have to return most of them and swap them out for smaller sizes - if in doubt - order the smaller size as this style does up BIG!

This is a nice dress, but HUGE! Ordered my usual size 20 and returned it. Then ordered the size 18 and size 16. Size 16 looks great on. Disappointing as other reviewer said with no lining. But will be able to wear it for work or evening out.

Modern style but too long and big - go down a size

This dress is very stylish and quite modern. The fabric is nice to the touch. I'm a size 10 but bought a size 8 which fitted better. However for me the dress is too long. I wanted it to be knee length like the illustration on the model!

Top too wide

Waist down is spot on but the top feels like a much bigger size so excess material around the bust and under the arms. Expensive for an unlined dress
