Trekking Shorts with Stormwear™

Bought for my husband who has these shorts in every colour he loves all the pockets for his specs ,his phone ,his car keys and his cash

Every year I buy these shorts for my husband at the end of summer sale. He has several pairs which he wears all summer. He likes the light weight, comfortable material and they fit well and look smart. The range of colours are really nice. However the material is not as hard wearing as cotton and after much use, holes have appeared and I have even patched them. As I usually get a bargain price sale the shorts are good value for the amount oF wear they get.

Only purchased as in sale, but hubby happy to keep as in sale(!) and that I applied my sewing skills to reduce the length. Now an inch and a half shorter he has worn them non stop- very comfortable with roomy pockets for phone/ keys/dog biscuits etc. A light weight fabric, I’m sure they will wash and dry with ease.

Better colour in light stone than previous stone khaki, better pocket design for mobile phones, good to have zip key pocket back. A little narrow at bottoms, these are comfort wear not fashion items. M&S should make sure there is no further reduction on bottom width.

My husband has had previous pairs of these shorts and we got two more in view of the hot weather. Unfortunately the quality is down once again. The hip zipped pocket is only 1 and a half inches deep and is useless. The pres-studs on the cargo pockets are difficult to use rather than the convenient velcro fastenings. The description on the listing is very sparse rather than helpful.

My wife and I are keen hill walkers. I bought two pairs of shorts, one navy, one light stone to back up two similar pairs bought from M&S a year or two ago. They are light, fit perfectly and are very comfortable, great for town, home and walking. Unlike other brands the pockets are a good size, for me, this is essential and greatly adds to the comfort compared to some other brands. They wash well, dry very quickly and are perfect for me, the best shorts I have owned. Please do not be tempted change them or skimp on the pocket size in the future M&S, you've got it right!

At last I have a pair of M&S shorts that actually feel comfortable and are as good a quality as those that I have purchased in previous years. They should be for the price I paid. This was the third type I tried, the others were of poor quality and 'skimpy' size. I might buy another pair.

My husband has worn M & S trekking shorts for a long time and these are a good replacement in nice light easy drying polycotton so perfect for holidays Bought them online in stone and then immediately ordered a 2nd pair in navy. I think they are true to size as he had lost weight and the old ones were not only done but rather big.

Fit as per the correct size, bought 2 pairs, 1 the correct size, 1 a size bigger (just in case!). The correct size fitted perfectly. Very comfortable.

I purchased one pair in store before lock down which I really liked. Ordered another pair online which came in a different material and were different length (same size ordered).

Good fit & quick to dry, when wet, or when washed.

Have been buying these shorts and their predecessors for many yeras and they are great for the summer - we do a lot of walking and in the UK climate with rain they are particularly good as they dry out quickly
