Textured High Waisted Drawstring Shorts

I hate shorts as my hip to waist ratio is never a standard size, hence these floating, drawstring shorts are brilliant. Fantastic for this weather and lightweight. More colours please!

Great lightweight shorts for my holiday. Ordered a 10 and 12 and kept the 10 as on they are generous.

Love these shorts - perfect length for me (I’m 5’7”). Material feels good, especially in hot weather and i really like the lace detail... please can we have more colours - dark green, purple and red would be fab.

These shorts are light and loose. Ideal for hot weather. Thin fabric for staying cool, but not see-through.

I'm happy enough with these shorts, although I should have liked them to be a little bit longer, just to cover up a little more of my upper legs, but that's personal taste - if I had longer, slimmer legs, I'd be quite happy with the length! :-) The crinkle-type material feels a little bit cheap, but it's light enough, which is the idea for summer, really, although the 'elegant lace trim' is a little more reminiscent of Victorian tassel edging than lace! They'll be suitable for lounging on a sunny balcony, which is the main purpose, really!

Just purchased these shorts so not worn yet, bought for holidays. They feel very comfortable, I like the high waist. Nice soft material, light weight. Would like them in another colour but maybe a light shade would be see through.

These are so comfy and flattering! The only thing was they a bit longer than I anticipated compared to similar pairs I bought last year. Great value for money and perfect for the nice weather!

I am so disappointed. These shorts look great on the model in the photo but look rubbish on me. They are way too short (I’m 5’ 7”) and very flimsy. Yes they fit but I feel like I’m wearing the bottom half of a pyjama set ! I will maybe keep them use them for just that ! They are too short and lightweight for me to wear them in public.

Nice ..happy with them . Till I washed them .. the shrinkage in the trim is different.it doesn’t shrink and the crinkle fabric shrinks and they now are a horrible shape ..look like two lampshades on my legs

I'd been searching for a classy pair of black shorts for some time and liked the look of these. The lace trim is a pretty addition to what would have been a plain pair of shorts. Being petite (5ft1"), they are little shorter in length than expected but long enough to look good and not reveal too much flesh for wearing out. The material is good quality but fairly thin but by no means see through. Very pleased! M&S please bring more colours, perhaps navy and burgundy?

Perfect lightweight shorts for sitting in the garden in the sun, very light and can wash and dry very quickly. Quite roomy so go down a size.

I like the look of these shorts a lot and the fit was perfect. Expected them to be a little longer but I would be happy to wear them at this length. Good value for money. Sadly, the day they arrived our spell of glorious weather finished so I haven't had the chance to try them outside yet.

These shorts were exactly what I was looking for. Very flattering cut, covers tummy and doesn't ride up in between your legs if your thighs rub together. Washes well, no need to iron. I recently lost some weight, so gambled on buying a 14 (I used to be an 18) but they came up very generous and could have probably got away with getting a 12. They still look great- wish I'd bought two pairs now, I have a feeling I'll be wearing them to death and they're now all sold out!
