Textured Ambassador Hat

Purchased for the 2020 summer that never was, in the sale (With limited size / colour options) it was a bargain but if it had been full price I’d probably sent it back. Size is the M&S Achilles heel In all men’s wear, it’s either spot on or Way off. I’m a 60cm head which is usually a large and this is way to big but in the garden no one will notice. I should have spotted the anomaly that you can’t have a hat size range from L to XL without some means to adjust it (which it hasn’t). Once again M&S good effort let down by poor sizing

A nice looking hat but a little on the tight side. I just wish there was a way to clean hats easily.

This is a very nice hat, but the sizing is very generous. My husband has a large head so we bought the L/XL, but the hat was loose, which is unusual. I’ve sewn some extra padding inside the band, so it now fits.

This is the second hat purchased from M&S in the past month and the second to be returned, both of size "S-M", in what appears to be new hat sizing scheme for M&S, which no longer includes a size "S". Both are too big. I have bought a number of size "S" hats from M&S, in the past, which have fitted perfectly. Do NOT waste your time with the new "S-M" size,if you have fitted a size "S" in the past

The colour and texture were good but this hat was only available in small/medium or large, i.e 2 sizes instead of the usual S,M, L options. I usually buy small size in these hats but because this was sized small/medium it did not fit.

I bought this hat for my husband as a replacement. He chose the denim blue shade as a change from cream. It fitted slightly too big but the smaller size would have been too small. He has used it every day on our walks in the sunshine and is very pleased with it.
