I love these trousers and have 3 pairs. The Tencel fabric is very comfortable to wear , drapes well and doesn’t crease. If taken out of the washing machine as soon as it finishes and hung up to dry they only need a light iron.

These are great: wonderful fabric, good colours, and excellent shape. True to size, too. But the thread used for the seams is INCREDIBLY uncomfortable: very irritating and scratchy on the inside leg. Not something I could put up with. So sadly the trousers were returned.

In the absence of any linen trousers in a style for my age group I purchased the tencel equivalent. They fit well and I am reasonably happy with them. However all summer long M&S have not stocked linen trousers other than very small or very large sizes or with very wide legs. Been there, done that in my youth! Please bear in mind your core customers who do not want to walk down a catwalk nor look like mutton dressed as lamb.
