Purchased after reading the review, I did size down but I felt that I could do with my regular size, so returned in store. I shall wait for my size to become available and purchase again. I think the quality of the shoe is very much like another brand I own that the Dutches of Cambridge wears, only difference is the price.

I bought these recently. They can be smart or casual and you can change the ties to match different outfits.

Wedges convert!

So comfortable!! The soles are so soft with lovely cushioning on the heel and the ball of the foot, and as soon as I tried them on I knew I'd be able to wear them for a long wedding day. If you're considering barely-there heels, don't! Try wedges. Good height, not frumpy. The straps stay up if you knot them tightly, and are lovely and soft, but the shoes don't really require them to stay on. Perfect shape at the back, not too hard in shape if you have wider heels. I have fairly narrow feet and am a universal size 6, and I'm glad i didn't size up as other reviews suggest; these fit perfectly.

I love these shoes! Leather of the toe is super soft and not going to rub, unlike the cheaper versions of the M&S espadrilles I also tried on in store. Straps are also very soft. I am normally a 7 with wide feet, but as others said I sized down to a 6.5. These were a little tight to begin with, but the leather has stretched to fit perfectly already with only about 20 min of wear. Absolutely recommend these.

Very pleased with these espadrilles. Look quite high & smart but actually very easy to walk in - think I will have comfy feet for a whole evening! The toe end is very soft.

Lovely height, great quality, although suspect the suede isn't colourfast as first pair I ordered had marks all over the cream straps. Still love them as look very stylish!

Beautiful espadrille wedges and I love the ecru/darkest navy combination. I seem to have jinxed the weather, though - it seems to have rained non-stop since I bought them - sorry! As usual, I went down half a size from my usual size.

Love these espadrilles they not only look good they’re comfy as well, just the right height to wear with dresses skirts or ankle grazers. I wore mine with a pair of white linen ankle grazer trousers and a navy and white Breton top. Wish they did them in red is buy them too.

These look great, are super comfy and I know will go with lots of outfits this summer. Look more expensive than they actually are. I did go 1/2 size down and they fit really well (I’m a 6, bought a 5.5)

Following recommendation from other reviewers, I ordered a half size smaller, disappointingly my heel slipped out of the shoe as I walked even though I had firmly wrapped the straps around my ankle. The shoes are otherwise very comfortable and look fab. Now giving a full size drop a try. I really hope they fit! The staff at my local M&S were really helpful in sorting out my return and reordering. Thanks Lancaster

Just received theses today. Simply love them. Look more expensive than some of the others I’ve seen. Bought a half size smaller. Perfectly comfortable which is unusual with the added height. Had been lookin for espadrilles for long time and these fit the bill. Being older was a bit hesitant about the ankle ties but they’re fine. Think I will wear them lots. Added bonus toe in.

I went to M&S last month for some sour dough bread and saw these and couldn’t resist. The come in half sizes which is brilliant I’m a 4.5 so there are a good fit. The price is excellent too plus I got 20% discount so even better. They will go with anything and I will wear them out this summer!!! I wish they came in a wide fit as they feel a tiny bit tight width ways - not unbearable but as they are suede they will loosen up. The only thing I would say is although they blue suede ones were in stock in store but they had scuff marks on them due to being on display, so I ordered my online in store and they came 2 days later.

Usually love M&S shoes but as per another review there was a lump inside by the toe. Thought other reviewer was just unlucky but mine the same.

These espadrilles are almost identical to a very much more expensive pair I already own (a brand worn by many celebrities), but at a fraction of the price. The only (minor) quibble I have is that the laces feel a little flimsy, but otherwise they are lovely. Can’t wait for summer so that I can wear them with pretty dresses or wide leg trousers.

Lovely but faulty

This have constantly been out of stock but I eventually managed to get a pair. They are really flattering to the foot, the black suede toe looks good. There is a very small problem of the back of the shoe fitting into the back of the foot. Unfortunately there was no quality control on these as a large hard lump had been left in the toe of one of the shoes so they have had to be returned.
