Overall I find M and S sizing very variable and therefore very frustrating! I bought a size 6 and and 8 as I wear both sizes depending on individual item. The 8 was huge and shapeless. The 6 was just badly cut. The upper sleeve area is baggy, as mentioned by another reviewer, and the hang of the piece generally, wide on the bust area and close on the hips., is poor. Don’t bother!

This is a nice top. The fabric is quite thick, and good quality. I like the way the cuffs are lined so they can be turned back. I bought my usual size and it was miles too big, and a bit shapeless, but that could just be me!

I really wanted to like this garment but I’m afraid the poor fit meant that I had to return it. The arms were very loose and baggy at the top and the body didn’t hang properly which resulted in a very frumpy look. I wasn’t looking for a tight fitting top but this was too relaxed and shapeless. I think the sizing overall was ok ( I’m a size 10) but the cut left a lot to be desired. The material quality was great but the overall look was poor.

I purchased this Autograph top because I thought that it would be good quality material, unfortunately this was not the case. This top was very clingy and not flattering at all. The shape was poor particularly where the labels where sown on side of garment.

Ordered a size 8 and 10, but I tried the 8 first and it was huge so they were returned. M + S buyers need to get their act together as none of their clothes seem to fit right. I have no trouble with White Stuff or Next.

Firstly I am really impressed how quickly I received this item in current circumstances - ordered p.m. 6 June and received it 11.30 a.m. on 8 June - how good is that! Usually a 14 but ordered 16 as wanted loose fit so in Winter I can wear thermal top underneath and it's perfect. Good shape for me and doesn't cling which I hate. Very nice fabric, neck line is just right - not too loose, all in all delighted with top and excellent service once again from M&S! Obviously haven't washed it but seems to me that I will have no problems as quality of fabric is good. Nothing not to like.
