Very attractive looking skirt and absolutely ME! So bitterly disappointed to find that as a natural size 12 skirt wearer that it wouldn't do up no matter how much I breathed in as it seemed to be at least 2-3 sizes smaller! The waistband could not have been any more than a size 8, I had intended to measure it but forgot to do so before repackaging it for return. Terrible sizing, but as I love the skirt so much next time I am able to go into store I will try in several different sizes to see if I can get one that actually fits as a size 12!

My usual size 14 was way too tight, so I changed it for a 16 which is OK. The length (69cm) given on line (see picture below) is nowhere near accurate which if I were shorter would be a problem. Actual length is 81cm. The belt could have done with a bit of stiffener, but since I probably won’t use it that’s not too much of a problem. I’m still deciding whether to keep the skirt, but think I can live with the niggles - time will tell Please try and get online descriptions accurate and standardise sizing

I loved the style and fit of the skirt but unfortunately it was far too long for the fitted style. I am 5foot 3 and the skirt came well below calf length. I liked it so much I would have shortened it but with the button through style this was not an option, so I was sorry to have to return it.

Good fit, lovely midi length, A little stiff, but I am sure it will softend after the first wash, very pleased with the colours and I am sure I will get plenty of wear out of it this summer and summers to follow.

I ordered 4 skirts all the same size. 2 fitted perfectly and 2 were ridiculously small. This never used to happen with M and S clothes and I wish that standard would return. I will order this skirt in a bigger size as the colours are interesting.

This skirt is a bit different from the skirts I usually buy as I tend to buy plain, one colour pieces. I like the skirt itself, but oh dear, M&S, do try to get your lengths right. This is described as being 69cms in length, which on my tape measure equates to 27ins, which would be shorter than I normally wear, but it is a Summer skirt so I decided to take a chance. However, it was so long on me that upon measuring it, I found it is nearer to 80cms in length, about 31ins. I decided to keep as I can get it shortened, but it will cost me more than I saved when buying it. I have given it a true to size rating as, apart from the length, it is a good fit.

I love this skirt, fits perfectly and the length is true midi. Nice colours that can be teamed with various tops. Well done M&S for a classic skirt.

A beautiful quality cotton skirt, which is true to size (I'm a 12), the belt is an asset and the vertical stripes are very flattering. It also washes very well.

I loved this skirt when I first saw it and I was pleased to get the last size 6 but I have since returned it as it wasn't flattering on at all for me, it was quite big every where. I did swap it for the trousers in the same design and they fit much better.
