Bought these in the sale at a very low price. Even at full price they were good value. I was a little wary of reviews stating the legs were a little narrow and they are. I have chunky legs but they were acceptable if you like a close fit. It helps that they contain elastomer so they stretch quite easily. Quality is good overall.

Great fit, look stylish and initially good value for money. Unfortunately however, like with many clothes from M&S, after one wash these shorts came out faded and with the usual white lines in the fabric where the dye has faded. They now look old and well used, not great for me and not great for the planet.

A nice slim-fit design and comfortable too. My only negative is that I bought the same shorts last year and these are a baggier fit and not as nicely slim-fit as last year's! What's going on M&S? Keep your sizing consistent please - don't skimp on quality.

I bought the shorts because they look good and the style is great. However, whilst the waist size was absolutely perfect, the leg holes were incredibly tight. My wife joked that they looked like I was wearing cycling shorts. I know they are an elasticated material but these were overly tight and my legs aren’t huge.

A tad big on the waste of anything but very skinny at the bottom of the leg. Works for me as a relatively smart pair of shorts to pair with a polo shirt probably for meals out during the summer (well I can dream!) but as per the other reviewer I can imagine this annoying (or not fitting some)
