Lovely Coat, shame about the arm length!
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
No, I don't recommend this
I bought this online, received, tried on my daughter and unfortunately had to return. The coat is lovely and thick, seems like it would be waterproof however the arms are ridiculously long, even against a second coat we bought from M&S which was the same price. If I had any sewing skills I'd take the arms up slightly but I don't so the coat had to be returned.

Bought this along with another coat online. This one is slightly heavier but not fitted. Fur on hood is detachable which is a great feature. Fabric is much shinier in the flesh. At half price in the sale this is a bargain. Only returned as preferred other coat which was slightly fitted.

Lovely coat - too big and arms way too long

Bought for my daughter who loved the look of the coat but it was way to big for her. She is of average height and frame and the arms were ridiculously long. Shame as she is usually this size in coats from other big high street stores. Would have bought it in a smaller size had it been in stock. I find M&S sizing a bit hit and miss for myself and my daughter.

Coat was bought to wear over a school blazer but was much too bulky with the furry lining. Would be lovely and warm worn as a winter coat wearing just a school shirt and jumper though!

My son loves this coat,in particular he likes the added fleece lining and the fur trim around the hood. He says the coat is light in weight but it’s really warm and also keeps out the wind.

Odd fit

This was enormous. But when we tried a smaller size the body size was still very wide but it was tight on the arms. Very odd fit. My daughter would be pretty average size wise. A pity as otherwise it seemed like good quality. Returned.

Item arrived with a manufacturing fault. It is very subtle and did not notice at first. Aside from that, the coat is warm and is what we expected

This coat is well worth the money. It is true to size, very warm. We particularly liked the fact that the fur hood trim is removable as my granddaughter does not like fur & all the other coats we looked at had the fur trim attached, it is also very useful to be able to remove the trim before washing the coat. Overall we were very pleased with this coat.

Looking for a warm and at least showerproof coat for slim build 6yr granddaughter to wear to school. Purchased this online as description just what I was looking for. Granddaughter loves it! Bought age 5-6 as she is slightly built and next size too big. Perfect fit with room to add layers. Only problem has been the quality of the metal zip which she has struggled with on her own. Still good value for money and hard to find a "Coat" for girls with decent length, especially for walk to school. Some describe as coats but are jackets!! Haven't washed yet. Would recommend for above reasons but would point out zip quality.
