Lovely product, but a little heavy for my old lady hands. Keeping them though - I'll get used to the weight!

Solid bit of kit. Slightly awkward to clean the garlic out of the press bit.

Brilliant strong garlic crusher. I thought the old one was good from m and s but this is better. It’s a better design than the old one as it’s all in one piece

Very effective at getting the garlic out of the skin, leaving you with a white, creamy paste. My wife and l are cooks and we believe in eating well for good health, so this will come in handy around the kitchen.

Ok but not great

This is ok to press garlic but it’s got a funny basket which I’m not sure what it’s for. I bought an Oxo press at roughly the same time and that’s loads better functionality and cleaning

Bought this to replace an old garlic presser that was well past its best. This one is a great size, easy to grip, and works well. Didn't know what I was missing! Looks great in my M&S utensil holder - which only served to show up the old one even more : )

This has not lasted very long at all. The screw came out and the item fell apart. I have also had a problem with a can opener bought at almost the same time. Previous items from other retailers have lasted me for many years so it’s not anything I did and I follow care instructions religiously. My next garlic crusher will not be a M&S product.

I ordered this for delivery to my local store. Unfortunately it was slightly damaged when it arrived. Normally this wouldn't be a problem however it was intended as a gift so I returned it. I thought the quality was OK but nothing special compared with other brands.

Design fault

Really robust and good value for money but once I received my online purchase, there were no teeth to push the garlic through, just a flat surface. This makes it tricky to clean and you need more pressure. Other than that, well made, would last for years and good value.

Almost easy squeezy

Very functional just as it should be. The end product is pretty much a slightly 'lumpy' garlic paste every time, exactly what I wanted. This is not for small hands - it requires a firm grip and squeeze to operate - half measures are not an option! It's quick to operate, but note that you'll spend as much time cleaning/clearing it as using it because you will need to clear the grater/press of any residue - bits of garlic skin mostly - after each successful squeeze. But that's true of any garlic press!

I bought this to replace my old garlic press which was also from M&S. It was 22 years old & excellent quality. This new design seems even better, sturdy, easy to use & clean. Well worth it if this one lasts over 20 years plus!
