Can't review for use as returned item straight away - I thought it was a regular hand-held size but obviously did not look at the description closely enough. This is a huge grater and too large for my grating-needs. I'm sure it is probably good quality etc. though.

Bought this as a gift for someone to replace their battered one pound purchase from a local shop. Of course this is vastly superior ! It's strong, will easily stand up to vigorous grating in vertical mode on a chopping board or horizontally over a pasta pot. The sturdy handle ensures a good, non slip grip. I've only downgraded one point on functionality because its so large. Some people with daintier hands may prefer the slimmer handheld versions and it is maybe too large to fit in the average open utensil jar. I'd hang this beauty up for ready access.
