Oh dear - I was looking for advice as to how to mend the snapped stays that hold the desk flap up and I've read that lots of other folks have had this problem... any solutions M&S...???

Being used in a home office. Now instead of having computer out on display it is shut away after use. Really a nice piece of furniture, room looks great with matching bookshelf, filing cabinet and a three door wardrobe for storage. Now ordering from range for another bedroom as so delighted!

A substantial handsome bureau let down by very poor quality brackets which are unable to support the weight of the desk area door when open. I've had to improvise by using two long cylindrical packing tube to support the desk door when it it is open. Other than the above, the Sonoma range is well constructed and blends well with other furniture. I'd love to give it 5 stars but at this price M&S really should provide a better bracket.

Very well made. Looks good. Only query is how drawer under the flap adds additional strength. It does not appear to have any contact with the Flap?

Very impressed with an attractive additional piece of furniture to our room just completely finishes everything off tidying cables etc out of sight and was already built a bonus then able to check over before signing off delivery to confirm acceptable, would definitely recommend. On the flip side we did not receive a proper receipt of purchase and tried calling customer service gave up hanging on, went in store to ask they were not in a position to advise with online furniture purchases again they attempted to call customer service on my behalf although they were very helpful but I was not willing to wait any longer for an answer to customer service furniture query, assume I will end up accepting on line order as receipt of purchase.

bought this bureau in sale 50% discount FABULOUS !!! even at full price this bureau is an absolute godsend no more of wheres the pen? wheres the envelopes ? wheres etc etc etc all neat and tidy ,and great product value and quality I must also comment on the delivery guys they went above and beyond so polite friendly and professional i have had lots of deliveries over the years from lots of HIGH STREET RETAILERS but none of the delivery team where a patch on these men something that is unusual for me is the fact that i cant find anything to moan about !!!!!

Am over the moon with this desk! Arrived with in the two hours they gave me ...Its a wonderful computer desk lovely wood well worth the money ...and it tidies away when we have guests...would definitely 100% recommend this item.

Unit looks great. With careful use should prove a useful piece of furniture. My reservation is that when typing on the desk I leaned on it with my elbow and one of the supporting arms snapped where it fits into a metal holder with a plastic insert on the desk. I suggest only light typing and do not press downward on the desk with any undue force. Replacement arms are quite expensive.

Love this Sonoma light bureau it's everything I hoped for looks great in our spare room come study, everything is now hidden away when not in use and a great space to work on when we need to use the computer/ printer/deal with paperwork etc.

This is a very useful and practical bureau however after 12 months one of the desk top stays/support brackets has broken. How do I get a replacement

Had this for just over 1 year and both hinges have now broken. They simply are not strong enough. Replacement hinges have cost me £25 each so not happy. Unless the hinges are upgraded I would suggest looking elsewhere. Shame as it looks great.
