Brilliant product

I’m on my second pot of wax. My nails have never been so moisturised and long. For me this wax is all about nail conditioning. There’s some shine but not like a coat of varnish. I buff in the wax by rubbing my nails against the palm of my other hand. The added bonus is that there is no mess as with nail oils and creams.

Wish I had read reviews before I wasted my money on this product. Nails look no different!! Definitely doesn’t make more shiny!

I purchased this nail buffer today from one of your stores and I have to say that it is possibly one of the worst items I have ever purchased... It is absolutely beyond useless and gives no shine whatsoever, no matter how much it is used. I am really surprised and disappointed that M&S can sell such a poor quality product and I will try and see if I can return it back to the store this week and get my money back...!

In common with some other reviewers, I'm very familiar with nail buffing using carnate, so was pleased to spot this kit on the website. Unfortunately, it's turned out to be nothing like the buffer I hoped it would be. The wax in this kit is just that - wax, when it should be a fine gritty paste. The cover on the buffer pad is an awful plastic instead of chamois so when combined with the wax, you get a lot of friction but no shine. Luckily, the cover is removable so I'll be replacing it with a piece of chamois and have thrown await the sticky wax. The white pencil is just average, too. Finally, the packaging on this was awful, a nightmare to open. Come on, M&S, you're better than this.

Ive been looking for a buffer like this for a few years after having lost mine a long time ago. put it on my gift list and received it for Christmas. I read the reviews and to be honest I can only think that some ladies don't know how to buff! you only need a tiny smear of wax on each nail, then get a rhythm going with the buffer. my nails look lovely after just a couple of buffs, lovely and shiny. ive never used a pencil before but even on my fairly short nails it looks really good.

Noticed this in the shop and popped into basket - I wish I'd read some of the reviews beforehand! What a hassle getting everything out of the packaging and then the wax is so sticky. The white pencil is a complete waste of time. Very disappointing product.

I purchased this today and despite several attempts can see absolutely no difference in my nails! ‘Shiny nails kit’ is completely misleading. It simply does not work!

Buffer makes no difference to nails at all, and the wax leaves a sticky residue

Had this bought me as a present. I was most disappointed as it does not do what it is supposed to do. If I had bought it and it was not a present I would demand a refund!
