I had hoped this umbrella was even more compact as I’ve had ones in the past that are very small and perfect for your handbag . It is however still a good product for price . Don’t think it would cope with wind but for the money I’d say it’s fine .

Not worth the money . I kept because I couldn’t be bothered returning but definitely not worth the price . The only good thing its small to fit in my bag but cannot see it lasting long .

I ordered this because in the picture, the previous design of M&S compact umbrella is shown, and I've had several of them over the years. However, the item I received is the new design, which I've seen in store. The handle and carrying loop are different - less comfortable to hold - and the umbrella seems shorter and flimsier too. I am going to return it and look for an alternative.

Fell apart on first use. Crazily I have now bought 2 of these. The same happened both times. Very flimsy. Got us through one downpour. Better than a plastic bag over your head, but not a lot. You get what you pay for!
