Roma Rise Wide Leg Jeans

Bought similar in white last year and was perfect fit, this time it was a very poor fit and the length was ridiculously short. They would have been better described as CROPPED jeans. Very disappointed

I was surprised that they were cropped,possibly ,my fault I was disappointed that the length was not as I expected. If you like the style the are well made ,heavy material just too short for me.

As sold looked ridiculous on! Clown trousers. But as the fit was good I decided to take down the hem. What a mistake. The blue dye was horrendous. After several washes. Still blue dye rubbing off. The hem had frayed so much they were too short to do a hem. Gone to charity without ever been worn! Total waste and of money. Thank god I got them in the sale.

Was a bit apprehensive about ordering these after reading some of the other reviews but am glad I did. If there are loads left in the sale then I'm first in the queue.

I am in two minds with these trews; they are, for me, lovely as I like the style of them very much. However, THEY ARE NOT WHAT IS SHOWN IN THE PHOTO. Firstly, they are not full length, and secondly, they are not slightly wide or flaring leg. They are cropped and by quite some margin, and I am only 5' 4", and they are wide leg culottes flaring from the fitted pelvis and upper thigh out quite wide. As I say, I really like this style but that is not what I was buying this time - I already have many of these. I wanted full length seventies inspired slight flares as per the photo and description. I am really annoyed as I have now used my discount and I could've used it for something else. I've rated them as if what I got is what I was buying, but if I was rating them for what I received, they would receive minus ratings. -10 for effort M&S.

Come on M&S get some good wide leg jeans! We don’t all suit skinny or straight leg. You did some Autograph jeans about 2 years ago best pair I have ever had but looking a bit worn now so hoped these would replace them - wrong! My order didn’t even make it out of the store! I did see a couple of reviews but always take them with a pinch of salt. This time they were spot on.

Very thick good quality denim, however the 'tall' ones I bought could only be considered tall if you're Jimmy Cranky . Luckily I'm ok with a needle and thread.

Was very excited at the thought of some wide leg jeans finally, but long still didn’t come to my ankles and the zip and buttons do up the men’s way round. If I wanted this I would buy men’s jeans.

In the description of these jeans it didn’t say or l didn’t see anything that implied they were cropped style. Ordered long because l am long in the rise expecting as usual to have them shortened. They barely scraped passed my ankles. They were fine in the leg to the knee but what was the worst thing was the amount of meterial allowed for the tummy. Mine not small these days but to fill it out it would have had one 3 times the size. The material was a good as was the detail. The bottoms are very very wide. Returned them.

Ordered these on first sight (before any reviews to consider) thinking they would be so good, the denim is nice but the sizing fit etc just bad. I am petite and ordered the short length - they were too short, and stuck out so ridiculously - my daughter said I was never to go out in them - and said I looked like I was walking like a clown they are so wide it made it impossible to feel you could walk normally and accommodate them from the knee down! Returned.

If there had been a photo on line of a model wearing these jeans there is no way I’d have ordered them. They were described as wide - they were huge! But small on the waist. Of all of M and S’s jeans, these are the ones that will be in the sale! What a pity.

Disappointed with these jeans. Before I even tried them on I thought they looked cheap as the button detail was so cheap looking. I guess I could have replaced the buttons myself but I decided to send them back.

These looked great online but when they arrived I didn’t know if they were joke trousers. They are described as wide, well they are certainly that, But they also appear to look square with a six inch hem Really M & S what is going on with your trouser designers, these are a complete joke.

Arrived today and very disappointed. They were not long length until I unpicked the 3inch hem!! Photo misleading - very, very wide at the bottom more like bell bottoms. I am only keeping them because the denim is good quality and I am good at making clothes and therefore will be able to alter them.
