Pure Silk Vest Top

I bought this to go with my wedding suit, it is a perfect colour and is very lightweight. Easy and comfortable to wear

Nice silk and I was looking forward to trying it on. But the fit was very strange and it hung awkwardly on me with a sort of folded over bit from the bust.

Much lighter weight of silk than photo and price suggests, fairly sure it would crease quickly. I didn’t even take it out of plastic so gave ave reviews for fit etc. Returned

A very high standard of design and feel, looks more expensive than it was, would highly recommend.

Lovely light silk but this comes up very big...if you're a size 8 or over, you can size down quite comfortably, but I'm a 6, so had nowhere to go!

Ordered this online, decided to try a 10 and 12 (I am usually a 12). Arrived today and couldn't wait to try on. Looked at both sizes off the hanger and the 12 looked quite big. Tried on the 10, perfect fit across bust (34D) and despite not being fitted it hangs nicely. Whilst talking of fit across bust, I didn't find the internal lining created a problem, it was completely invisible from the outside, not creating a 'line' as in other reviews. Also it didn't gape at the armhole for me at all as in other reviews. NOW about the colour, several reviews have commented on this. I can confirm it is a luxurious 'Warm Ivory Cream' and incredibly attractive next to the skin and looks very expensive. I cannot wear white next to my skin/face so usually opt for off white, ivory etc. And this top is the nicest shade I've seen. There is a nice 'detail' at the back, from top to bottom the seam has been double stitched which creates a nice change. Also as described it does hang lower at the back which is very flattering too..nearly forgot to mention, the 'V' neck sits perfectly and is not low I can't praise this top enough and am sure I will get plenty of wear and compliments too.

Love this because it is pure sil. I do not like man made fibres at all.

I bought silk vest in black last summer and I thought £45 for a vest top was a lot to pay but I have worn this top constantly. I wear it under work suits and leave it loose and I have also worn it with jeans and a jacket. It really is a very versatile item. It washes beautifully and is really cool in the summer. I am a standard size 14 and the 14 fits me perfectly.

True to size but I found the top too staticy and the lining at the bust was far too short and created a visible line

Ordered this on a whim to go with nay and white striped linen trousers. Its a lovely yellowy cream shade which hangs well. It can be worn loose but I prefer it tucked in. Looks super cool and smart for warm evenings. Plan to take it on holiday.

This top looks lovely and feels luxurious. I hope to wear it with many outfits. I sm reall hsppy to recommend it.

I read all the reviews before ordering this top and found them most helpful. I am a size 10, and ordered both an 8 and a 10. I found the 10 a little loser, not gaping under the arms and a perfect fit. I liked the fact that the back is longer than the front and that the top half is partially lined. It is a luxurious top and excellent value for money. I would have liked a light coloured one, but they were all sold out. I shall enjoy the black one with cream linen trousers once our Summer arrives!

Slips on and hangs beautifully. I felt it was a little prices but a very useful addition to any wardrobe I think

These silk V neck vest tops are luxurious beauties - superb quality & wonderful value for money -yes-they tend to come up on the small side size wise -so finding one that fits properly is a bit of a trial - but well worth the hassle as they are so useful & it is incredible to wear such amazing luxury against one’s body.I find them beneficial for rectifying the problem of when necklines on garments come up too low on me-as the neckline is cut higher on these silk tops - so a good excuse to buy more than one colour -!
