Love this shirt. Feels & looks much more expensive. I took a seize smaller, normally an 8 but 6 is just perfect. Can't wait to wear it.

Good quality cotton, good for summer over jeans but also looks good tucked in to a skirt for workwear

I was looking for a long top, and this seemed to fit the bill. The material is light and fine, and perfect as a holiday cover-up too, and the length is good for me at 5'5". I debated between a 14 and 16, but having read the reviews I opted for the smaller size which is an eensy weensy bit tight on the bust, but as it's so well made it doesn't gape. The larger one would have been too wide on the shoulders anyway. Very happy with my purchase.

I like this shirt have had my eye on it for a while. As some Autograph shirts can be too big for me I ordered a size 12 (size 14 can be oversized for my taste) and loved the fit and pale blue colour. The material is good quality and has a comfortable and cool feel with a good length to the body. Will get a lot of wear out of this shirt.

Very pleased. Colour, design, fabric and general fit are excellent. Works well for petites but you may have to go down a size and fold back cuff. More like this please!

Really pleased I bought this blouse - can be worn dressed up or down - and at last a blouse with a longer front with no chance of it riding up exposing your waistband etc. I wish M & S would revert back to designing blouses with those few extra inches in length. I love the Autograph range and it's worth paying that little bit extra for a well tailored item.

Lovely cotton, doesn’t crease significantly, perfect fit including length, washes and irons well. Have bought in both colours. More shirts of this quality please.

EXCELLENT ESSENTIAL WHITE SHIRT

I don't suit collars but like to have a crisp cotton shirt in the wardrobe. This fits the bill perfectly. I like the slightly quirky styling and the slightly voluminous back pleats are great for my pear shape. Would have scored an 'excellent' for quality if one of the buttons hadn't fallen off on the first outing.

A very well made shirt in good quality cotton that looks as though comes from a high end brand. It is slightly on large side so I took a size down & style is probably more suited to those who are taller. I am very pleased with this purchase

I liked this shirt, I liked the colour, the material and the style, however it did not really suit me, I have seen it on other women and it looks lovely but think I would have kept it if the collar was a bit different the collarless style did not work with me.

I love the style and fit. Looks well with the autograph black zip fronted midi skirt. Time will tell how this shirt lasts.

Something a bit different...

This shirt caught my eye as I've been looking for a longer length summer shirt for a long time that wasn't too shapeless. I wouldn't normally go for a collarless shirt however because of the lovely quality of the cotton I decided to try it on. I'm usually a size 10/12 in M&S and for me the 10 was a great fit. It was longline, not tight but still flattered my shape, and as others have mentioned didn't pull across the top. However I can understand others saying it's not for them, the arms are quite long, and I'm also quite broad across the shoulders, so people that aren't might find it swamps them. Overall though I think it is an unusual looking shirt, something different that stood out a bit, looks more designer than high street so not bad for the price!

Nice, crisp white material and design. It's long but at 5ft 8in it looks fine on me. Love the cuffs. Like it so much I'll buy the chambray.

Good quality material. Not too transparent. Great length. Beautifully cut shirt. Slightly on the large side, but not enough to go down a size. Just a lovely shirt - you wouldn’t regret buying it!

Hugely oversized which isn’t clear from website

No, I don't recommend this
I’m usually a UK 10 but ordered an 8 to try to ensure it wasn’t too large. It was HUGE. I was hoping to wear it with black trousers for work but it looked ridiculous - very long and loose, it looked too unprofessional to wear to work and just an awkward cut (rather than a fashionable over-sized look). No mention of this from the website so assume it is unintentional. Unfortunately had to return it.

This shirt came up very big so I tried a smaller size. It still didn’t look quite right on me - nothing wrong with the shirt, it just didn’t suit me so I swapped it for a shirt with a collar which felt much better.

Beautiful design, shame about the sizing

Really lovely, modern clean line design in crisp medium-weight cotton. I'm just under 5' 5" and usually an M&S size 10. I tried an 8 in store in the blue stripe version. As it was far too big on the shoulders, across the body and in the length of the arms, I ordered a 6 on-line. There were no reviews available at the time I placed the order. Sadly the size 6 also was too big across the shoulders and too long in the arms so back it went.

Not for petites

No, I don't recommend this
In the absence of an equivalent shirt in the meagre petite range, I decided to order this in the size 6. I did hesitate because there was so little information about it: at the time I ordered no Reviews at all and, unusually, only one photograph, from the front. No back or side views, and no photo on a model. All of this would have helped me immensely. But I was being told there were only 3 left in the size 6 so, against my better judgement, I ordered it. From what I could see it looked a really nice shirt and I am usually very impressed with the Autograph range. When it arrived and I took it out of the parcel, things still looked good. The quality of the material was excellent - a really nice thick cotton. But everything started to go pear-shaped when I tried it on. I have marked this down as "A bit big" but I would stress that this doesn't mean it was "a bit big" all over - just in a few strange places! First of all I was very surprised at how large the cuffs were - stood well away from my wrists and looked distinctly odd. I suppose my wrists are a bit on the small side so let's see what the rest looks like in the mirror. A little bit big round the chest but I think I can get away with it...It's quite long but I am petite at 5'3" and this isn't a petite shirt so that's only to be expected and I quite like the length anyway. It was when I turned round that the damage became evident. There was just a large surplus of material in the back that was quite inexplicable. Also, where the pleats came underneath the yoke, it stood out in a most peculiar fashion. Such a shame. I had high hopes for this shirt. It had to go back.
