Well made quality jacket

I usually only buy online but decided to try this on in the store because of some reviews stating the arms are too long. On me, they fit just right. The fit around the chest and shoulders is quite snug with a jumper underneath. Fabric is very subtle and not stiff like other jackets of this type from other stores. Would have preferred an inside pocket but four good sized pockets on the front are more than enough. The top pockets will fit an iPhone XR in a case. Overall a good jacket for the chilly spring and autumn months.

Hands are too loose

Hi, I like the fabric and colour very much, but have to return it because I felt hands are too loose even though I have bulky hands. I have to say the jacket is a straight fit. There is no lining and no pockets inside. Harry

The jacket is of a very good quality and the new design makes it a very good fit especially around the waist. Only downside is there,s no lining.

This jacket looks great and fits well. All the pockets are on the outside, so it's not as practical as it might be.

The false statements: This item is listed in "big and tall" Reviewers say the sleeves are very long. The photo in the advert shows sleeves longer than coat. The description says it is "lined". The website said there was one in my local store. The reality: It is not made in "big and tall" The sleeves are a bit short. The sleeves are shorter than the coat. It is not lined There was one as I have described in my local store! So I made a wasted trip. My local store does not stock anything in big and tall sizes. Very disappointing. Once again I find that M&S do not make much for tall people and they are "missing a trick" because nobody else does either.

A good and stylish fit except for the sleeves which are a bit long. A couple of inside pockets would be helpful and maybe washed black/grey, dark blue and light khaki versions would add further appeal.

Very versatile jacket, can wear with chinos, jeans or even trousers and still looks smart. Nice colour not too garish and made of quality material not cheap or poorly made like some other brands who do similar items. i got a size large, as a taller slim guy this size fitted me perfectly with the arms being quite long like some other customers have mentioned, it suited me fine. all in all a very nice jacket.

Very upto the minute style. Great colour and high quality fabric. Very practical for travel and everyday use with plenty of pockets. Works well with a spring Tee or merino crew. Excellent with chinos or jeans. Outstanding value for the product offered. Boutique name similar items list at 2 to 3 times the M+S price.

The arms are to long and one needs to turn up the cuffs and the sleeves are a but tight as is the main body and I am not that big. Its a bit like being in a straight jacket

Just bought one of these from my local M&S. Really nice cut and the colour is perfect. Generally speaking this isn't the sort of garment I'd expect to find in M&S and I think they've done a really nice job with this one. Quality seems good and if it wears as well as it looks then I'd say the price is fair too.

because of its weight and finish it is just a fashion item. Neither jacket (toolight) or Overshirt (too fussy). Will return mine at the weekend ( I like it a lot but it has no practical pupose. Most older males would assume it is an Army surplus jungle uniform. Bit like the used hospital greens that USA students wore back in the eighties. Looks great but its utility wear. I dress in keeping with current trends

Been on the look out for a decent field jacket across the usual men’s brands for sometime withourmt any joy. Then I happen to wander in the local M£S and there it was and what a great price. Very happy and will be great transitional spring or autumn jacket.
